Terms

Terms of use.

SolveSignal is an experimental research project operated by Lightware Media Inc. These terms apply to using the site and sending us an observation.

Last updated 17 September 2026.

What the service is

SolveSignal collects descriptions of everyday friction so that Lightware Media Inc. can look for recurring problems worth investigating. It is offered as an experiment, on an as-is basis, and it may change or stop at any time.

What you send us

Please only submit observations that are yours to share. Do not include passwords, account numbers, confidential or commercially sensitive information, personal information about other people, or anything you are under an obligation to keep private.

By submitting, you give Lightware Media Inc. permission to store your submission and to analyse it, including summarising it and grouping it with similar submissions, for the purpose of this research. Submissions are not published, and your contact details are never displayed publicly.

What we do not promise

Sending an observation does not create any partnership, employment or other business relationship, and it does not entitle you to compensation, equity, royalties or a share of anything that may result. We may investigate a problem, or we may not, and we are under no obligation to build anything, to report back, or to explain a decision.

Other people may independently describe a similar problem, and similar ideas may be developed by us or by others without reference to your submission.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to submit unlawful, abusive or deliberately false content, to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, or to submit automated bulk content. We may decline, remove or archive any submission.

Privacy

Our privacy notice describes what we collect, how it is used and how to have it corrected or removed.

No warranty, and limited liability

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that anything you send will be retained indefinitely.

To the extent the law allows, Lightware Media Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

Changes and ending use

We may change these terms, and we will move the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated terms apply. You can stop using the service at any time, and you can ask us to delete what you submitted through the privacy notice.

Governing law

Lightware Media Inc. is incorporated in Wyoming, United States, and these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This does not remove any protection the law of your own country or state gives you that cannot be waived by agreement.
